Operators' course

Learn and practise the basics and operating principles of a mobile allterrain spider excavator as part of the one-week Menzi Muck operators' course. The course is suitable for novices or operators with little previous experience.

Course contents

1. Course agenda

Welcome to course participants including company presentation at the showroom of Menzi Muck AG, Kriessern at 9 o'clock. Move to demonstration area: coordination of boom and dipper (lifting the Muck machine on the wheel side and the feet side). Walking forwards and backwards; machine maintenance and lubrication.

2. Course agenda

Walking forwards and backwards in a circle (controlling three movements). Moving the excavator towards the side. Excavating with telescope insert. Levelling exercise (coordinating boom, dipper, telescope and bucket)

3. Course agenda

Overcoming obstructions. Handling the walking excavator and mobile walking excavator and protecting the ground. Moving up and down, vertically towards the slope.

4. Course agenda

Moving towards either side along the slope; moving into the slope in confined spaces.

5. Course agenda

Precipice exercises; truck loading; company tour. The agenda can be flexibly adapted depending on the group's progress.

Costs

CHF 2'660.00 excluding VAT, includes accommodation and breakfast

CHF 2'300.00 excluding VAT, excludes accommodation

The course fee includes the use of the machines provided by Menzi Muck AG (one machine per two participants), support by one trainer per four participants, one Menzi Muck operators' coat and a surprise gift.
